Prices are in Australian dollars. GST is added at checkout. Plans renew monthly until you cancel, with no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee (see our Terms). A “text” is one SMS sent to one worker.
Questions people ask
Do my workers need to install an app?
No. They get a text message with a link. Tapping it opens the shift in their phone's browser, with nothing to download and no password.
What if two people try to accept the same shift?
The first person to tap Accept gets it. Anyone who tries afterwards is told, politely, that it's already been taken.
How do I know they actually turned up?
To check in, a worker's phone shares its location once and it has to be within 200 metres of the shift's address. You see their arrival and finish times when you approve the hours.
What about First Aid, White Cards and other documents?
You upload each worker's documents and approve them. A worker with a missing, unapproved or expired document can't be texted about a shift or chosen for one, so you don't book someone who isn't allowed to work.
Does ShiftMatch pay my workers?
No. It gets the hours right. When you've approved the hours you download a payroll file for Xero Payroll and a summary to invoice each client. You pay people the way you do today.
Is our information private?
Yes. Each agency's workers, documents and shifts are kept completely separate from everyone else's, and documents are stored privately.
Is it only for Australia?
It's built for Australian agencies: Australian mobile numbers, dollars, and Sydney-style dates and times.
